His Girl Friday

Most journalists seem to be friendly and the boss seems to think highly of himself in the movie. All reporters try to get most stories that have an impact in the paper. The editor (Walter) is very full of himself and doesn't care what event occurred just as long as he has the story in the paper. The editors wife, Hildy, is divorced and wants Walter husband to stop being selfish. His morals are to the paper and money and not caring about his ex-wife.

Walter's values are mainly about what should be in the paper. This movie is about a man and a woman that have many differences and are having a divorce simply because the husband cares more about the newspaper than his wife. Walter is very open about his personal life and is very self-centered, but he also has some people do some dirty work for him. During lunch, Walter was acting like a jerk around his ex-wife while she is seeing another man.

Hildy is trying to dig up some information out of a group of men who play cards. She seemed to be trying to figure out a way to go to Albany without bringing her ex-husband.
