2013 College Football Season- BCS-Buster

Most ESPN analyst say that last year's BCS-Buster, Northern Illinois will be the same team to get into the BCS again. However, there are other teams who are capable of being the next or a repeat BCS-Buster.

One team that should always be taken into consideration is Boise State because for the last few years, they have cemented themselves as an elite football power that can shake up the polls, but also cause chaos in the bigger conferences. For example, the Broncos have beaten teams like Oregon (twice), Virginia Tech, Georgia, and the team most people recognize; Oklahoma. Therefore, Boise State can be a contender as long as they win the Mountain West Conference out right.

Another team that should be taken seriously is San Diego State from the Mountain West because they are the one team that is knocking on the door just waiting to crash the party. The Aztecs have been competitive for the past two years, but haven't played any team of a high caliber. In order for San Diego State to get into the BCS, they must expand their competition to the bigger conferences in college football.

Last, but not least, Colorado State could be the next BCS-Buster because they have made some big improvements from last season with the coaching staff. Getting the offensive coordinator from Alabama, the Rams have a coach with good offensive knowledge which will help them get points on the scoreboard along with a talented defense which will get the offense back on the field. However, Colorado State must get better at winning conference games within the Mountain West and expand games with bigger conferences such as playing Alabama this coming season. Therefore, the Rams have a few holes to fill and they will become a contender in the Mountain West.

Please comment on this post. I really want to hear your opinions about these possible BCS-Busters.

MLB All-Star Game: Who Wins and Why

The MLB All-Star game is coming up shortly in July, but I think the National League will have their work cut out for them as they challenge the American League. Odds are in favor of the NL which I believe will win because over the last few years, the NL has produced a lot of talent from pitchers, batters, and teams. For example, the Giants and the Cardinals have taken the last three World Series trophies from the Rangers and Tigers who are in the AL by playing good defense and aggressive offense. Therefore, the NL should have an easy All-Star game based on the talent chart and have home-field advantage throughout the World Series.

Please comment on this post. I would like to hear how you feel about this prediction.
