Listening to Terkel's comments about storytelling and journalism can be helpful to my writing techniques because he talks about objective and non- objective writing. He discusses how valuable non- objective writing is because it is a story that is not taking a side, but is presenting the cold hard facts of a story. Terkel also mentions someone named Andre which in my opinion would be self-conscience.
I learned that I could think about what I want to write about using facts that are 100% true to avoid a subpoena. Also, I can write my opinion about a topic or I can write true information about a story, but no taking sides on an issue.
